Withdrawal of a Firm's Investment Business Authorisation, DPB Licence, Audit Registration and an Individual's Practising Certificate

The Chartered Accountants Regulatory Board hereby places notice that:

The firm of Daniel G Walsh & Co, 28 Townsend Street, Belfast has had its Investment Business Authorisation and DPB Licence withdrawn with effect from 1 June 2007.

The firm of Daniel G Walsh & Co, 28 Townsend Street, Belfast has had its Audit Registration withdrawn with effect from 29 June 2007.

Mr Daniel G Walsh, Principal and Sole Practitioner of the firm of Daniel G Walsh & Co 28 Townsend Street, Belfast, has had his Practising Certificate withdrawn with effect from 29 June 2007.

The Chartered Accountants Regulatory Board is a body established by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland to regulate its members in accordance with the provisions of the Institute's Bye Laws independently, openly and in the public interest.

The decision to withdraw the licences was made by the Quality Assurance Review Committee.
